Some things about me… What can I say… I am a Husband, Father, Son, Brother and a Friend.
My strengths are often my weaknesses. For an example… I always say what’s on my mind… My wife loves and hates this about me.
I’ve always felt people should speak their mind. Why hold back? Before I met my wife, I was told I would be so much hotter and possibly get laid more if I didn’t talk so much Haha. But me holding back and not saying what was on my mind would make me feel unreal… Fake. Besides from being truthful to my love ones, I’m an active listener as well.
” I’d rather die on my feet than live crawling on my knees” (Chicago Fire).
Being a father has been challenging, but yet, rewarding. Challenging, because I didn’t know how to be a father. My Dad was never in my life. And my Mother was too busy trying to support us that she was never around. Anyhow, fatherhood hit quick and hard. Before I knew it, my daughter was crawling around, chewing on everything she could get her tiny little hands on. Soon after, she walking and talking like a little human Haha ( I still get teary eyed watching my daughter grow). Never in a million years, would I have thought my daughter would come running, calling me Babe (It’s the little nicknames that bring more togetherness in our family). She’s two now and plays the piano, colors, loves to read, loves watching her shows and movies (especially Alladin) and she SINGS!. Oh My God!!, my heart melts when we’re in the car bumping Pandora Disney’s movie soundtracks( her favorite is Frozen’s “Let it Go” and “Love is an open door”) and she just sings her heart out like a contestant on “The Voice”.
My son, handsome young little man (Our BIG BOY). He’s just exploring and learning something new all the time. Its like witnessing little miracles everyday. He’s crawling (little burger moves fast if your not paying attention to him Haha), cruising from couch to couch. Today 11/12/2015 after his first nap I heard him say Dada, but Momma wasn’t so sure she heard it Haha. So we’ll wait to see what other word he’ll blurt out.
As you can see I’m a family man. I love my family. My wife and I have already agreed on having two more kids. The thought of having a bigger family just fill my heart with joy. Also scares me haha. I don’t have all the answers nor I’m I the best Dad. But, I do know that I’ll never give up. Life is tough. Supporting a family is even tougher. But I love facing new challenges every day. And the best part of doing this is… I’m not alone.
To my Wife and Kids… I love you guys to the moon and back.
To my readers and followers thank you for reading. Please if anyone feels the need to give advice on how to improve my writing I’m all ears and if anyone needs someone to talk to let me know. I love meeting new people. Thanks again and much love.
